Make your own counter-top cleaner!
absolutely by
Balaka -- unbelievable!

It's simple! So simple, you won't believe it works!
Whenever you squeeze out juice of lemons, put those skins in a glass jar ( I use an empty pasta sauce bottle) and fill it up with white vinegar. On the lid, put the date with a sharpie for you to keep track of time. You may keep adding lemon (or even lime or orange) peels and vinegar until the jar is full. Keep the jar tightly closed in your pantry shelf for atleast two weeks. You will observe a color change in the white vinegar medium.

You have two options after two weeks. If you are lazy like me, or with a run-down blender, simply shake the bottle and strain out the fluid into an empty and washed spray bottle. It should be washed and clean to make sure there are no other chemical remnants of the previous concoction. A mix of different chemicals is never a good idea because a completely unwanted reaction may take place. The new liquid in the spray bottle not only will smell of citrus, it will be a completely healthy cleaner for all your surface. For wood floors and leather sofas, test the fluid in a corner not very visible to make sure it is accepted well.

Now, the other process is to blend the whole mix in a blender and strain the fluid. The pulp can again be added to vinegar to make a next batch of a slightly different proportions. If you do not intend to do this, simply scrub your kitchen sink with the pulp residue and run it through the insinkerator. The entire drain pipe area will smell good too! A true citrus flush for your kitchen!

If you intend to use it, give a "like" and "share" with friends. Enjoy the chemical-free cleaner!
